New Year Resolutions - Relooked

I know that just barely a month ago I had made some resolution for the coming 12 months. I guess that it is fair that I have a review after a month, you know, to decide which are the ones that you will never make it or to add new ones. Afterall, I have to live with them for the rest of the 11 months.

Recall those resolution:

• Lose the bloody weight. (Er, still got 11 months what?)
• Get a bloody good job. (well, I got an internship that is pretty crappy but pays pretty well)
• More good deeds please. (I am considering doing voluntary work after graduation, Not procastination, just that I gather that I need to spend more time studying)
• Be really good to Mum. (I am still trying on this one)
• Have great hair style, 365 days, 24 hours a day. (Fall flat, lah, especially after the last hair cut)

All seem going pretty well, those that are not, I will try harder to work on them. But I will like to add one more resolution:

I WILL STUDY VERY HARD.

I like to think that I am a pretty efficient student. Not an extremely brillant one but substantially managable one. Having shared classes with the part-timers for about 2 years, I have developed the mentality that the minimum passing grade is good enough. However, recently I had switched to full time studying, the full-timers' mentality was a whole new world to me. I was told by Mr L, since I am a full timer, i might as well give my best. I give him my promise that I will not reveal his 4.5 CAP points (opps!) but I gathered he will be too busy studying to ever come across this entry. Apparently, again told by him, many of the full timers get a perfect 5. Ouch.

I get decent grades, but nowher near 4.5 or a 5. Incidentally, I heard a part-timer said that he was given a warning to pull up his socks or be out the next semester. So yes, the bitch in me, took consolences in the fact that there are people worse off. But since I am now a full timer, I have to make sure that the time is well spent and I can't possibly let myself down. If others can do it, so can the lion in me.

Having said all these, it is time to go pack up and go KL and relax for 4 days before I come back and rule the world.
